Documenting the History of Giant Kelp Distribution in Tasmania

To characterise the extent of change in distribution of Giant Kelp, SeaCare is documenting its range over time, via on-going (every 10 years) aerial surveys of giant kelp distribution, and collecting anecdotal evidence from fisherman who remember the time when kelp was a dominant feature of the coastline.
